These beautiful ceramic pendants are all one of a kind. The ceramic base is porcelain clay that has been hand formed, textured, glazed and fired in Mary's studio kiln. The micro mosaic is also completely handcrafted by melting Italian Smalti glass and then pulling it into long strings of glass that are then cut into tiny pieces with a hand file and hand placed with tweezers into the base. This is the traditional ancient Italian method of creating micro mosaics.
